Hi David,

Well done! I'd hate to be the poor mother trying to keep that mouth full
with critters, no wonder she looks a little beat! :-)

 

I suppose lucky she only had one in her brood or were there a couple of
others in the nest off camera?

 

My luck if I came across a scene like this, they'd be at precisely the point
of departure. And as I put camera to eye, mother and offspring would fly off
leaving me with nothing but an empty nest! :-(
