David,
Shots such as these that you, Doug, et al. take are inspirational for my wife and I who aspire to become accomplished amateur photographer's. The pics show the art of the possible as well as what excellent lens can do in the hands of patient, dedicated pros. Then strictly from a Mother Nature standpoint, they're equally fabulous in seeing a part of the world we are aware of but don't normally see.
