Simultaneously, the board has elected Dr Andreas Kaufmann as an additional member of the board, as well as to the position of chairman, for the period until February 28, 2009. Well, that's a turn-up for the books. Were there any rumblings beforehand?

So he's basically the numbers man.
I hadn't realised employees at Solms were so unhappy with Mr Lee. All in all, not a great development for Leica.
