This gentleman aki asahi seems very competent. I exchanged a few mails with him yesterday.

But for the paintings, there is another Japanese guy (I've seen on Cameraquest, me thinks).

You are right, it needs the SL away for a while. Or buy a donor, send the top& base plate for toning and mount it when back....

A large project anyhow.

Farkle eh?

I for one would like a Hammertone finish applied to my
SL.  Too bad it's not a DIY kit like the leatherette
ones.  I can't deal with letting my SL go for months
to get some Farkle applied...
