Reacting a bit late,
I liked the portrait David.

Good on you.

BTW: other than the (stuffed) animal preserved at the Natural History Museum in London, dodo means 'bed' or nap in French; mainly used for kids ', au dodo will be understood as an injunction to go to bed.

Thanks, Dave!

I did make one mistake, however, when I described the shot. I'd said it was at ISO 3200. Miha gently pointed out, in a private email, that the EXIF data showed ISO 1250. Earlier, I'd been shooting the same grandkids, at their swimming pool, at ISO 3200. I guess I'd changed with the brighter (if awful) lighting in the Gymnasium, and forgotten about it. Sorry if I misled you - or anyone on this list.

Still, I like the shot... and am please that you do, too!

Cheers!
