The screen should sit in the black screen carrier frame. There is a small tab on the right of the frame (as you look at it). Just seat the screen in properly into the frame and firmly, but gently push the tab upwards and the frame will click into place. If you had a box with a spare screen, the box would contain a small red plastic tool, which helps you do this.

Hello Guys,

I just received a mint R9 that I bought a few days ago. The camera has seen very little use and it looks in top condition.

However, the focusing screen was loose inside the camera and has come off the screen carrier. I've looked at the instructions on how to replace the screen but I can't figure out how to set the screen in place. It looks like the carrier usually swings down by pulling on the screen tab but since the screen is not in I don't see how to release it from the up position. Is this correct?

Any ideas how to get the screen back in place?

Thanks,

Miguel Asensio
