Thanks for the link, David. I followed from the PetaPixel article back to
Sothby’s sale catalog and it is a wonder to see that many of Ansel Adams’s
images at one site, and yes the final sale figures are impressive, but add in
the Buyer’s Premium back to Sothby’s on top of those and it just hurts to think
about that much money for big sheets of paper with some chemicals and black and
white dots on the front of them! :) Thank you.
Aram, I quite enjoyed your take on the Snake River view. Yes, a few more trees
since 1942, but still I think you did a fine job in your capture. Good on you.
Best regards,
Peter S.

Dunno about the percentage, but it's a nice shot!
David.
Only slight problem with that is you have to be dead.
Do you think my take on it is could get me maybe 0.001% of that?
Things have changed at that location.

And, who says there's no money to be made, in photography?? A
complete-ish list of the photos with images, can be found on
Petapixel.com. https://petapixel.com/2020/12/15/iconic-ansel-

It's worth your time to have a good look at the works of a
master. David.
