No complex software is ever bug free. Never ever! At some point, you simply
release it and let the customer do the final QC. Which is still never final.
IBM Laptops, Hasselblad 200 cameras, IPods, BMW's, Rollei 600x, MRIs, etc,
(basically everything) all fall into this template.
I've been developing firmware for myriad products for forty years. Doug is
correct, it is ALWAYS released before the programmer wants it to be
released, but the company would fail if the release were up to the programmers.
