M8 modded Nokton 1.2

Did anyone here have the mount modification done to a Nokton 35/1.2?
I just did (preparing for M8). Now it will not focus on the M7 or even
mount on my M4 or M6. Taking advantage of the free fix when buying a
new CV lens.
A cockup or does the mod mean you can no longer use it on other Ms
than the M8?
