Apart from being well done, the seeing to make it work in the use of a 50mm
lens is quite unique considering this type of scene with a great depth of
field.
This is exactly the way it should look, an invitation to .... ""Walk down
this path to the church!" Step right into the photo with no "out of focus
area" to block your visual way along the path. And to have shot it with a
50mm is quite interesting as it wouldn't have occurred to me to use a 50,
unless that was the only lens I had, then I'd be forced to trying it. With
this type of scene I'd have gone with a 21-28 or 35 simply because of the
required depth of field to make it really work with greater degree of depth.
