Greetings All:
The White River Lake CBC will be held on Saturday, 29 December 2018.
We will meet at the White River Lake Marina at 7:30 AM, will bird
until 4:30, will meet up at the marina at 4:30, and will caravan back
to Lubbock where Jeremy Clark has, generously and wonderfully, offered
to host a potluck supper/countdown. I have enough folk, barely, to
cover the circle but would really love to have more counters - at any
skill level - for the routes on the east and west side of the lake.
Water levels have been good, this area actually did well over the
summer in terms of foliage and forage, and I think there is a narrow
chance that this count might top, for the first time, the Lubbock
County CBC in terms of species count!
At this point the following assignments have been made - things might
change a bit if I get more volunteers for the lake routs:
Team One - The North Woods - Rich Kostecke, Brandon Best
Team Two - The East - Anthony Hewetson
Team Three - The East Side of the Lake - Phillip Kite, Lena Zappia
Team Four - The West Side of the Lake - Justin Bosler, Ellen Hildebrandt
Team Five - The Southwest - Jeremy Clark, Canyon Clark
