The theme of the September meeting is about connecting to data. Daniel
Rosales will be presenting on Accessing Data from Visual Studio 2008. We'll
have a followup Intro to Report Server presentation and map out some future
presentations on Reporting Services.
Getting more people involved in running the group seems a common refrain
among user groups. We could use some new officers. I took over the reins
from Karla largely out of a sense of wanting to pay back and forward for all
I've gained by being part of our SQL community. Think about how you could
help the group and don't be shy. You'll find the rewards/benefits to be
considerable.
Speakers: start signing up for 2011 slots. If you're hesitant, pick a month
later in the year. It'll give you ample time to put together a presentation.
