Hello,

I must write a converter from LandXML to our own data structure. This
includes conversion of the values into meter and radians. Since the
units are specified within the Units tag, this should not be a problem.
However, in LandXML specification, there is an elevationUnit and a
heightUnit. Which one is used for which values? I think about elevation
of contours, axis profile elevation, elevation of CgPoints, elevation of
surface points, and so on. I am unsure, because those unit types accept
different sets of values. Are there also elevation/height values, which
should be converted by the linearUnit?

Is it possible to mix up metric and imperial units, e.g. use feet for
the linearUnit, but celsius for the temperatureUnit?

Regards,
Johann
