same problem again with my 05R/W several months ago.

XP would run fine until i switched on the korg, then it wouldn't exactly
lock-up, it would just go into stasis, because as soon as i switched off the
korg, XP would run fine again, just as it was.

i did everything i could before hacking up the wires, but sorry to say it's
the only way i could find.  i downloaded all the dam drivers, even the
japanese ones.  but $1.50 at tandy and 20 minutes of stupid fiddly rewiring
later and all was hunky korgy.
