[korgypark] sound changes

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the MIDI game and am having more than a little frustration. I am
using a K5 with Cubasis on a Mac. When I select a track and choose a GM Midi
sound from the pull down menu on the screen, it plays the correct sound just
fine. But as soon as I hit the record button the sound turns into something
from the A bank. What am I doing wrong? Can you help?
