The flash flood watch has been extended in area to include the Klamath Basin,
until 11pm this evening. Stay tuned to local media, NOAA weather radio, and
www.weather.gov/mfr<http://www.weather.gov/mfr> for updates and to monitor
whether the watch turns into a warning. A watch means conditions exist which
may produce flash floods; a warning means it is occurring or it is going to
occur. The likelihood is still rated low by the NWS, but the possibility exists.
The link below includes more details about the watch. Remember to stay away
from drainages and areas likely to produce landslides if a flash flood warning
is issued in your area, and never drive through flood waters.
This link from the Oregon Department of Geology will take you to an interactive
map where you can turn layers on that show the landslide susceptibility (and
earthquake faults, too) across Oregon: http://www.oregongeology.org/hazvu/
