The Sprague River gauge in Beatty is currently measuring 8.7'; flood stage is
8.5'. It crested last night at 9.6'.
The river is still rising in Sprague River. While the risk to structures
appears to have stabilized, hazards still exist. The river is flowing rapidly
and contains debris. Stay away from the water's edge; snow and ice chunks may
break free. Officials continue to monitor the river and will update the public
if the risk or hazards increase.
Sand and sandbags will remain available through the weekend at Chiloquin Fire
Station in downtown Chiloquin, Chiloquin Fire Station 3 on Sprague River Road,
Sprague River Community Center, and Bly Fire Station. Residents who are
concerned about flood waters are encouraged to come pick them up.
Residents with concerns should call their local fire department - for Chiloquin

Beatty/Bly area, 208-921-8590. Residents who need immediate assistance should
call 911.
