The good thing is....he realized it... course much later in life. But he did acknowledge the mistakes he made in younger years. Many people won't ever admit a fault in their own character even when it is blatant. I agree that the treatment really was terrible, particularly concerning Julian... but I respect that he admits those mistakes so readily. Books I've read indicate he (tho pushed by May Pang) tried to re-establish a relationship with Julian...but there is also a lot about Yoko trying to shut off that contact...and particularly anything to do with Cynthia being involved. He still did what he did...and I think a lot of 'rock' and 'pop' stars did the same thing in their glory years in same situations... but we only really hear about Lennon. People need to remember that all celebrities are human first. I admire much of his music, just as I admire Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture and Tiger Woods' golf. But the way he treated his first wife and his first son should open the eyes of anyone who dares put Lennon on a pedestal. Jim McNally
