Hey Glen...Moon Martin is John Martin....he was in that country rock outfit
(Southwind) in the early seventies which led him to work with Linda
Ronstadt....which led him to almost join the Eagles...but he chose to go in a
different direction of power pop/new wave which I am sure he now regrets,
though he said he didn't when I interviewed him... though he still does not
thave to work for a living...so I guess its all good. www.moonmartin.com

Alongside the Emitt Rhodes LP I borrowed (and have ordered the compilation Dave
recommended... Thanks Dave!), I borrow a copy of Southwind's "What a Place to
Land".
Another band I know nothing about.
Amongst its four members is a familiar-looking John Martin.
Searched for Southwind on Allmusic.
John Martin...
"Moon" Martin.
WTF?!?!? TWO KAAS-related discoveries in the same crate, from a friend and
musical acquaintance who knew NOTHING of them and had gotten them from
aunts/uncles...
!!!
