Nunavut.

Radio Amateurs of Canada would like to announce the recent appointment of Neal
Sunderland VE6NL, as Section Emergency Coordinator for Alberta, Northwest
Territories and Nunavut. Mr. Sunderland was appointed by Garry Jacobs, VE6CIA.
Neal Sunderland has been involved in many areas of radio both professionally
and privately for more than 40 years. He became a licensed Amateur five years
ago, remaining active on most HF bands as well as VHF and UHF. He also does all
the above mobile as well. Neal has been active in ARES in the Calgary region
previous to the appointment as SEC. Neal is trained in and has worked
professionally in Search and Rescue, Emergency Medicine and other related
fields.
The Alberta Section is one of our most active Sections in recent years with
fires in the north and flooding in the south.
