PROHIBITED AIRSPACE OVER CAMP DAVID, MARYLAND, EXPANDS FRIDAY TO SUNDAY The temporary flight restriction over the presidential retreat at Camp David, Md., (Prohibited Area P-40) will expand from 3 p.m. Eastern on Friday, June 6, through 1 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, June 8. See a graphical depiction of the TFR ( http://www.aopa.org/images/whatsnew/newsitems/2008/notams/8-3040.gif ). The expanded prohibited area will be very close to Frederick Municipal Airport, where AOPA's Fly-In and Open House will take place on Saturday, June 7. Because the airport is located in between P-40 and the Washington, D.C., Air Defense Identification Zone, pilots must be aware of their position and heading at all times. Pilots who fly into the area on instrument flight plans should exercise extreme caution if canceling to continue under VFR.
