[JA] Spam attracters

Recently we got cable boradband, and I foolishly made our first Email
account there the same as one of my Juno accounts, thinking it would be
less confusing to friends, if I ever gave it out. (Frankly, I'm not
planning to do so, but who knows?)

It was some time before I went on to the new Email account for the first
time to make sure it was working, the download brought the usual "Welcome
to" message, PLUS three or four spams!

I called Tech Support at the braodband company to complain, and they told
me that spammers will take any address they get, and then send it out to
all the major ISP's with Email service, just to catch fools like me!

So, if you get a new Email account with another ISP, don't use the same
name before the @ sign that you use on other accounts that are getting
spam!
