I'm always nervous about letting Microsoft send
anything, so haven't been updating my Win 98.
Under Tools - Windows Update, you can go to the
Windows site and have them look at your system to
see what updates are available for your setup. I do that
regularly and have had no problems. It sounds kinda
dangerous, just getting certain updates since you don't
know if there are any prerequisites
I get the Kim Kommando newsletter and she had info
on how to d/l that "Feb 11th" update this week. I deleted
my copy tho. When I went to the site, it told how to d/l that
one update. Turned out, I already had it anyway.
(You know I'm reliable since I live in Palm Bay)
