OK – I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
For some time SWMBO has been eyeing this laptop so she can get online –
something I’ve strongly resisted so far as it is my prime program and data
machine. To be fair I originally got it as a stop gap when the PC blew up and
never intended it to remain as my main computer for so long. It’s been running
continuously too 24/7 so I’m quite impressed with it.
Anyway I took pity on her and got a Samsung NC20 Netbook which arrived today.
It’s hardly any weight at all, has a 12” screen and basically the same HD and
RAM as this machine. It comes with XP installed so it avoids resource problems
with Vista and it has a six hour battery life. I’m beginning to wish I’d got it
for myself...

Good. I see they have also added the FSX scenery links I gave them a week ago.
I know they haven’t asked for TWR positions to be filled but would you be
interested in EGNS_TWR or will you be flying (or both)?

Excellent. It will be nice to see some JHB callsigns around that day.
I will be manning EGNS for the full six hours and I hope the other airports
get full ATC coverage too. I'm surprised that I am the only one to book a
position in the IVAO Schedule so far but hopefully these will fill up over
the next few days.
