Thank you everyone for the kind thoughts.

He was a distant relative of Jen's clan so I only knew him from family chatter. 
It is more upsetting for Jen's mum (93 not out) and Jen is staying with her to 
make sure she is OK. 

I love the way everyone asks me if I am looking after myself OK with Jen away 
and if I am eating properly. Having lived a solo life for 30 years seems to 
have flown their minds and I have to tell them I evolved from beans on toast 
many years ago.. Lol.
