If your laptop is still under waranty, which I'm almost certain is if it's brand new, contact the place where you got it from and see if you can return the one you got? I'm using a laptop here myself with a intel graphics card and have never seen any weirdness like this. I've seen other weird stuff like the display going in reverse, but even when that was the case, JAWS still worked just as it should. Dunno what to say other than that.
