Re: unsubscribe

Steve,

No objection to your sensibilities about this issue. I think kindness and
forebearance are important, too. Just want to make one thing clear, though:
I didn't write what I did in order to express criticism of Chris, however
you may feel about his message, yourself. And I certainly didn't mean to
characterize his comments as vulgar. I hope that wasn't misunderstood.

thank you.

Well Yardbird, this is good he was unsubscribed. I just think people should
be a little patient with others. That's the job of the moderator, not Chris'
so if he don't like a message, just delete it and if you want to vent your
anger on something or someone posted on this list, why not contact the
moderator, or better yet, the person in question and speak your mind. That's
not for a mailing list. If he did not like it, there's the delete key. But,
he chooses to make the person feel bad for all to see. I don't know the
individual and have nothing against him, but common courtesy should be a
characteristic of any human being if you must be in contact with humans.
like yourself. With regards the frequency with which it occurs on this
mailing list, well that's no excuse to be rude to another. I'm sure not
everyone has the time to read all the messages, certainly I don't and if
someone knows how to use their screenreader efficiently they'll have no
problems perusing hundreds of e-mails in a day, reading the ones that
interest them. As I said, I don't read every e-mail I get. May be Chris has
all the programs mentioned on this list, knows all the answers to every
questions but I'm not here long enough to know and from what I read I've
seen nothing of the sort. Please forgive my ignorance. I think his outburst
was a blaring display of his selfish attitude and a sign of intolerance and
weakness.
