un installing AVG but now will not llet reinstall

Hi List,
I installed AVG 7.5 and it got stuck scanning... so I un installed it
and downloaded a new 7.5 version. But it goes all the way to finish
and then access denied. I do not have the original down load. It
seems like it must think another key or something is still on the
computer. I might add that I un installed it from the AVG program
and then from add/remove programs.
I would like to try and install it again, but it won't let me do
it. Any ideas?
