Re: the accessible version of adobe acrobat reader with jaws 5.00.844?

Would this explain why when I enter on a web braille book to download it, it
simply immediately opens the file, giving me no choice as to where I want to
put it or allowing me to change it? I am using JAWS 5.844 and XP Home. I
didn't have this problem when using Windows 98; do I just have a setting I
need to change?

Hi Shai,
Of course, the file is on my harddisk. David P. said several days ago that
he can't open files on-line.
Thanks!

Where are you trying to open the document from? Is it being opened locally?
Or is it being open from the web.
That would probably help us to determine where your conflict might be
I for one for example, have opened the document here locally on my hard
drive, and it reads fine so you're saying that even this doesn't work?
I have never opened a document off the web before, I wouldn't even know if
that would be accessible, but maybe some one can help with that one.
