still trying to get thunderbird work e-mail to work with Jaws 10.0

Hi, again, everyone.
Well, I installed Jaws 10.0, and it now does seem like I can reply to an
e-mail, and edit that reply, using my Thunderbird work e-mail client.
However, when reading an e-mail, I still get the "ex western" thing about
every line or so.
I got into the language detection mode via insert V, and turned Language
Detection off, but as soon as I exit out of the current e-mail I'm reading,
language detection comes back on. ... Is there any way to turn language
detection off more permanently, so I don't have to do that for every single
work e-mail message I have to read?
