hi, have you tried to show your status bar?  to show it, in the Outlook view, 
press Alt + V, for view, and look for the status bar.  A check box must be 
indicated.  If the check box for the status bar was not indicated, then, press 
enter on it will enable your status bar.

I know we've done something like this before but I stupidly never saved the 
notes.  Once again I have no status bar in outlook.  What I mean is that jaws 
never says the number of messages in the inbox, the number unread, receiving 
mail, sending mail or just working on line.  Any solutions?  Thanks, Judith
