One way to see for sure if you have tabs is to check the space from the 
left margin using alt-delete.  Check the location of the cursor before JFW 
says 'tab' and check it afterwards.  If you don't know the size of a 
regular space, do the same thing in the middle of the word that doesn't 
have a tab character so you can tell what a single space should be.  I 
think I remember that reporting 'tab' erroneously was a bug reported in 
maybe JFW 5.early, and reported fixed later.  Unfortunately, JFW does not 
always report formatting correctly.
