Hi:
you already are running Jaws is a service if you have the run Jaws first
checkbox checked.
The reason draws 60 is taking longer and longer to boot is that the =
Internet
authorization is checking for valid authorization every time it started
freedom says they know about this but have not given any word as to when =
it
will be fixed. I have seen it slow machines down as much as a minute and =
a
half.

Subject: running JAWS 6.0 as a service in windows xp home

        Hi folks

For a while now, I had been noticing that it was taking JAWS 6.0 a =
longer=20
time to run when the computer starts.
. I do have a bit of usable vision, and from what I can determine, =
there=20
are a lot of programs that run before JAWS does, and it looks to me like =

it's actually the very last thing to load. So I have to wait while all=20
these programs load, and I'm just wondering if there's any way I can run =

JAWS as a service so that it'll run faster at startup? AT least as I=20
recall, that's what I believe will make it run sooner, rather than =
later.=20
Like I said right now, it's the last, if not one of the very last thing =
to=20
start up, and I was curious as to what I could do to make things start =
up a=20
little faster. This has been happening ever since I installed JAWS 6 =
when=20
it first came out last december, but I could never quite put my finger =
on=20
why it was just taking so long whereas before it was running a lot =
sooner.

I hope what I said makes some kind of sense? This isn't like a huge =
deal=20
or anything, but I like to make sure my computer starts up quickly so =
I'll=20
have speech right away.
Thanks for any ideas.
