Cy, When I removed JAWS 7, my computer crashed so badly that I had to call in a consultant to fix my computer. Others reported a similar problem. However, as I recall those threads, the same problem did not occur with the removal of JAWS 8 and higher. I haven't had the nerve to try it because I, too, have JAWS 8 here, but it ought to be safe. FYI, I find JAWS 9 handles some websites that later versions of JAWS do not. _____ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Cy Selfridge Sent: Saturday, February 12, 2011 9:59 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: removing old JAWS Hi all, I have a severe disk space problem on my old Del and I noticed that I have JAWS 8, 9, 10 and 11 on it. How do I go about removing the old versions of JAWS without destroying everything needed for 11? Thanks, Cy, The Anasazi
