This subject line caused me a few problems since I kept thinking jaws was
saying the message wasn’t selected when in fact the words not selected are in
the subject line. Confusing.

Subject: 'not selected' in outlook 2007 with JFW version 12
Hi,
In the past with JFW version 11 I got rid of JFW saying 'not selected' on every
message by using the following advice which worked with version 11. However, I
now have version 12 and it does not work. When I get to the Choose an option
window and highlight the first item and press enter it takes me into a JAWS
help window. This happens also if I highlight the first item and press the
okay button. Can someone tell me how to get rid of the 'not selected' being
said on every message in Outlook 2007 with JFW version 12:
What I did in the past follows:
To get rid of not selected
while in the list of messages, do the following:
insert+f2.
down arrow until you hear "custom highlight assign"
hit enter.
hit enter again 3 more times and it should be done. the defaults on the next 3
items you pressed enter on work for what you need.
Thanks for any help,
