I don't know how accessible Winamp5 is to JAWS users but you can install
Winamp5 alongside Winamp2 without any problems. Well... the only problem =
you
might get is with file associations - i.e. when you open an MP3 file it =
will
probably launch in Winamp5 rather than Winamp2. You can access both by
setting file associations yourself.

As with the Office discussion - is there a need to upgrade? Have a read =
of
the new features and improvements at www.winamp.com and see if it's =
worth
it.

Subject: newer winamp and jaws?

I am now using winamp 2.95, and, it seems to work prety well with jaws=20
5. Would there be any advantage to upgrading winamp, and if so: what=20
version would be the best?? I would appreciate input as I don't want to =
get=20
into a worse situation like I've done before by upgrading.
