Hi Peter,
You have to view the source. I don't recall how to do this in word, but if
you fire up ie and load the page, you can view source by pressing alt+v to
bring down the view menu and pressing the letter c to bring up the source.
This will launch note pad usually unless the html editor of choice has been
changed and you can look at the raw html. Word is a nasty way to create
html because it bloats the document but you should be able to find a <lang>
statement near the top of the page.

I'm a real starter with this stuff. I created the pages in MS Word and
saved as HTML. Where and how do I find the lang statement you mention as
nothing shows when I look at the document in MS Word.
