RE: keyboard languages

That brings up an interesting point that I've actually explored off list
with one member.  I've often wondered how English speakers from other
parts of the globe regard the various attempts at accented English in
Eloquence, RealSpeak, Sara, Etc.  Are they patronizing, or do they
increase a listener's comfort level.  As a ham and long-time SWL, and
one who has mixed with folks from different parts of the UK and various 
Commonwealth nations, I find Eloquence British English about the
silliest thing I've ever heard, whereas RealSpeak sounds fairly decent.
Any thoughts?
