I am using 98c and have the same problem. Can't find a work around, but if
JFW 5 does do a complete freeze, as it does from time to time, I find using
the control+alt+delete and alt e to close down some of the things that are
open, JFW 5 will come alive most of the time, without rebooting the
computer.
