are you certain you don't have a screen saver running?

Here's some info that may help.
Open controll panel, open display options, ctrl+tab to the screen savers
page, tab to the list and make sure it is set to none. If it is set to
none, proceed to the next set of instructions. If it needed to be adjusted,
stop here and try leaving the pc alone for a while and see if the issue has
been resolved.

To effect standby, you will need to open controll panel, power options and
find standby. I don't remember whre it is in .98 anymore. Make sure it is
turned off. You can also look at the power options and make sure that they
are all set to never.

Subject: jaws/stand by mode

On my 98 se computer, if I am away for a while it is going to some sort of
stand by mode or something and when I come back to the computer jaws is not
working. Is there something I can do so it doesn't go into this mode. Or,
is there a certain key stroke I need to use to use the computer after this
has happened? Thanks, Joy
