Speech recognition is not nearly as accurate as they would have you believe. Think about it. What happens so often with the computerized services on the phone. You say "Dallas" and the computer thinks you said Alice, or doesn't understand you at all. I'm sure it's a big help to those who can't type, or have very limited abilities, but a replacement for everyone, I don't think so.
