I think that message you're refering to is pretty useless actually. I mean, if it actually says that the person is away in the main window, then logic would suggest that they are away and may not respond. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

but here's the funny part.
when i go in to that person's conversation window to type jaws will not say, so and so may not reply because his or her status is set to away.
can you tell me of a fix?
