You can type in sndvol on the start menu and it will come up. It may be that the balance is off on winamps volume control.

In case you haven't used the volume mixer in Vista, you can change the volume for each application which is open at the time. However I find that adjusting one still has an effect on the other. E.G. adajusting media player volume effects JAWS and Visa versa.

Does anybody else experience this?

Subject: jaws and vista volume

I have an issue with my new vista machine. the volume works for winamp but speech will come come up. winamp appears to play in only one speaker. How can you turn up the volume to make it be all sound card channels with speech. what is the file name to get to volume control in vista? sndvol32 does not seem to work.
