Dorothy, I?ve already mentioned this but I solved my problem with a jaws repair. I thought mine was a view menu problem also, but no matter what I did I couldn?t make it work. I?ve only had to do this once on each PC with outlook 2007. It didn?t matter which OS I was using either. It comes in two parts, first of all no matter which message is selected in the message list, jaws says ?not selected?. Also, insert+pgdn does not read the status line, although my sighted fiancée tells me it?s displayed on the screen. Does anyone have any suggestions? The window is maximized, and restoring the window and maximizing it again does not solve the problem. I?m using jaws 11 under windows 7. Cheers Alex
