Try getting into Run in the Start Menu. Type MSCONFIG. This gets you into
a configuration menu. Select Startup. There are a number of items ticked.
These automatically start when the computer is turned on. Untick any that
you recognize that you don't want to play. One problem - I think you might
need a sighted person to do this for you. - Jessie Neagle

Dear people on the list,
I no this is not a jaws topic, but this is important and this is messing
up my computer.
I can't get QuickTime to stop playing files that I don't want it to play.
Or coming up in the system tray,
every time it comes up it makes jaws stop speaking or my computer crash, I
would greatly appreciated if you can fix this,
So you see It does affect jaws.
