Hi, Quick scan is that; does a quick scan of your system, only scanning potentially infectable files. Full scan does an entire scan of your local hard disks by default, but can scan removable media too.

Hi Gerald,

What is the difference between quick and full scan? And when can each be
used?

I get no reaction when I press the home radio button on the MSSE interface.
Any explanation?

I have not been able to find a manual for the MS security essentials. Is
there one available?

thanks and best regards, smart.

The best free anti virus program to use with JAWS 9 is Microsoft Security
Essentials. It is more JAWS friendly and lighter on resources than Avast
and AVG.
