Danny:

That keystroke reads the text content in the cell. I am needing to have JFW
read the color of the background shading.

  Hi Alicia,

When in the cell in question, you might try insert plus the number 5?

    Hello, Everyone:

I am formatting a table in Microsoft Word for a class have and one of the
things we have to do is shade a cell a specific color. In this case it is blue.
How do I check to make sure the shading is blue and I did not accidentally
shade the cell a different color. I am wanting to verify that the cell is
shaded the correct color before I turn it in for a grade. I do not have access
to sighted help until after the document is due to be turned in. Thanks for
your help.
