Gerald, I've used Open Book through three versions, and with a couple of different scanners. although Open book's scanning speed has improved a bit with each vision, it's the scanners that indeed are the key. Some are slow and some are rapid. Honest. It's really about the scanner. Not about grand names, either, but model by model. I hope this helps. So any scanner in the Epson Perfection line may serve your needs. The scanning speed is probably more a function of Open Book, rather than the scanner itself. ----- Original Message ----- From: Robbie Miller To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2008 11:19 AM Subject: fast accurate scanner for openbook 8 Guys, I have openbook 8 and an old Microtec scanner. I'd like to buy a new scanner that works well with openbook 8 that is fast and accurate. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
