hi Steve,
In the save dialog box that comes up in the beginning of the download process, shift tab to the list view.
You should arrow down and hear, My computer, hit enter.
Arrow down to local drive, hit enter.
Arrow down to documents and settings and hit enter.
Arrow down to your name and hit enter.
Now arrow down the the My downloads folder and hit enter.
Now tab one time and you should be back at the file name of what you are downloading!
hit enter!
The download should start.
Now, each time you go to download something, it should go into your My downloads folder.
Hope this helps,
Chris Chaffin

Subject: downloads

When I do a download, I want the files to go to "my downloads" I made this folder under local disk c, documents and settings, Steve Gomes. Under that there is a desk top and other folders. I put the downloads folder there. I was told once I set this up, when I do a download, it will always go to downloads. It always wants to go to the desk top. what should I do?
