Hi Tony, I don't hear Jaws say, collapsed or expanded either. But then I have removed the graphic labels for this. Like you after I have read a message, if Jaws says "unread", that in itself tells me that the message is collapsed, so, I just press alt V, then X to expand the message. I prefer it this way, because I don't want to hear Jaws saying collapsed, and expanded all the time For me "unread" says it all. If you want to hear it the other way, then you will need to go to the view menu, and select group messages by conversation. Once you have your cursor on group messages by conversation, just press enter to check it. Hi guys, I'm running JFW5.1 with Windows XP Home Edition and am having a problem, where when in the list of emails, jaws will not say colapsed or expanded. It will say unread, after I've read the email, and that's how I know that it's colapsed. I've tried locating the graphic, to see if it's not labeled properly, but I can't find it. Does any one else have this problem? Is there something in my view settings that I need to tweek. Thanks in advanse for any help with this issue. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ricque" <ricque@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 09, 2005 4:31 PM Subject: Re: collapsed expanded? > Hi Rich, > These are graphics, so, > if you don't want to ever hear this again, do the following: > 1Open Outlook Express. > 2.
